Nevertheless the Bateig stone will be his future and the future of his descendants
In the social field, he played a basic roll in the beginning of the La Estación parties when he contacted and brought the traders that came to Orito.
José was succeeded by his son Nicasio Pérez Terol, and Nicasio was succeeded by his son Nicasio Pérez Galdó too, who made an important expansion of the company by settling down delegations in Madrid (in the 30’s), in Barcelona and Zaragoza (in the 40’s) and carrying out important projects like the Telefónica Central Office, Ministeries….
Unfortunately his first-born Nicasio Pérez Crespo died when he was nine years old (1934). His brother Francisco was going to be the fourth generation of this family leading the company.
Nowadays, the descendants of this last generation guide the destiny of the family-owned company, Bateig Natural Stone, rebuilt on the same ground and processing the same stone that had been explored by the pioneer.
