Once applied, the impregnation and the subsequent ultra-violet curing process provide the material with a greater resistance to day to day chemical agents and act as a stain repellent, preventing them from entering the pores whilst allowing for easy cleaning with a cloth or with neutral soap products.

In addition to its high level of stain resistance, its non-slip properties also make it suitable for paving, offering a vastly superior quality compared to other polished stone commonly used in interior flooring.
